What is Arbor Nostra?
Arbor Nostra is an experimental Tree of Savior project focused on system design, class identity, and long-term gameplay balance.
Many core systems are being reworked with the goal of delivering class fantasy, improved combat flow, and a more deliberate progression experience.
Key features include:
- 1.2x EXP rates, 3x monster density in Field maps, high-EXP low-density Dungeon maps, custom EXP curve
- Community-Driven Development: Shaped by active feedback, with a strict non-P2W support shop policy
- Reworked combat pacing: lower damage/HP values for classic feel, reworked primary stats, new Critical Hit system
- Anvil 2.0: No Potential or destruction, safe +11 floor, becomes harder to enhance the higher you get
- Hardcore Hunting Grounds: 0 EXP, high silver drops, death penalties, Ichor system planned
- QoL: Auto-learn key attributes (weapon/riding), removed Advanced Class unlock requirements
- Adjusted boss and party drop systems: rewards Top 5 Parties to encourage group play
- Linear progression curves for reworked Gems and Transcendence, rebalanced cost curves
